The Arts and Humanities The Arts inspire self expression and understanding, and improve the quality of life in a community. The Humanities encourage appreciation of culture and traditions, native languages, of ethics, philosophy and the way we communicate. Together, the Arts and Humanities provide the foundation for all fields of study and are an excellent pathway to graduate study in many fields.
