Opportunities for innovation The WMAHSN has an ongoing opportunity for innovations, where potential partners are offered the chance to come up with new ways of solving local health and social care challenges. We are interested to hear from industrial, healthcare, academic and third sector partners who feel they can work with us on potential innovative solutions, models and technologies that address the challenges faced by the local health economy Approved proposals will receive support from the WMAHSN in various ways. West Midlands Genomics Medicine Centre Consortium bid for the region in collaboration with WMASHN submitted West Midlands population coverage 5.6m approx – thus 10% of England population Three phases of roll-out post designation: Phase 1: UHB, BCH, SWBH, HoEFT, BWH Phase 2: UHNM, WHT, UHCW, ROH Phase 3: All regional partners on board

10. Partnership Governance WM GMC Consortium Executive Committee – UHB, UoB, BWH, BCH & WMAHSN. WMAHSN to represent the interests of all other partners. WMAHSN to convene and support a Partnership Group to inform the GEC. Agreement with East of England GMC to work together and share best practice.
