Nutritional Needs Of Infants And Teenagers Infant Nutrition 50% of total calories from fat 500mg of calcium per day Begin dietary fiber after the age of 3 Teen Nutrition Lean protein sources Multiple servings of fruits and vegetables Whole grain foods Food preparations other than frying

Nutritional Needs Of Adults And Seniors Adult Nutrition 2-3 servings of milk 2-3 servings of meats 3-5 servings of vegetables 2-4 servings of fruits 6-11 servings of whole wheat carbohydrates Senior Nutrition Avoid empty calories Low cholesterol foods Low trans-fat foods Proper diet reduces the risk of osteoporosis, high blood pressure, and heart disease Pregnancy Increase Iron Increase calcium Increase folic acid
