There is another easy-to-make dish: Gorgonzola rice with pears and nuts! This is very common in Northern Italy, especially in Milan, where it was born. To make it, firstly you need to cook the rice with the stock, when it is five minutes to the end of the cooking add the gorgonzola and pears cut into dices. At the end add the nuts.

The main ingredient, that could also be the only one, is Provolone. Making it is even easier than eating it! Just take Provolone, slice it and put it on the grill! Wait a couple of minutes and serve it! Grilled Provolone

Parmisan Rice There’s nothing more than rice, cheese and wine in this recipe, what makes it different from a normal rice with some cheese is the way you serve it: according to the tradition it has to be served in a form of Parmisan cheese
6
Botched Polenta Take some corn flour, water and salt, put everything together on the stove, mix it for about 30-40 minutes and this is what you will get: Polenta! But if you want to make it more tasty add lots of Parmisan cheese and it’s done!

Mozzarella “in carrozza” The idea of putting mozzarella between two slices of bread was born to “recycle” its leftovers from other dishes, in Campania. The preparation is very simple: you have to put mozzarella between the slices of bread, then you need to soak them in eggs and milk. The final step is to fry them!
9
Sicilian Cannoli This is the classic dessert coming from the sicilian tradition. A “cannolo” is made from a very crispy fried pasty, filled with ricotta: it’s very important to fill the cannolo just before eating it, because otherwise the pasty would soak up humidity from the cheese and it would lose its crunchiness. After filling it you can add chocolate drops or candied fruits and powdered sugar.

PIZZA! Pizza is probably the most known food in the world. The origins of this trade mark of Italy date back to the 18 th century in Naples. Pizza is a bread-like dough stretched thin, to which you add 3 main ingredients: olive oil, tomato and mozzarella cheese. Then you can add pretty everything you want according to your personal tastes. A few minutes in a wood-heated oven and the magic is done!
