January 9, 2006 Minnesota Department of Agriculture 3 New Meth Law Impact Took effect 7/1/2005 Restricts access to psuedoephedrine products which are used to manufacture meth 3 rd quarter 2005 (July, Aug, Sept) vs. 3 rd quarter 2004 78% decrease in meth labs seized 75% decrease in arrests for manufacturing meth 66% reduction in amount of meth seized Source: Gov.
