4 What state do we live in? We live in Missouri. Missouri is a state. A state is part of a country.

6 How many states are there in the United States? There are 50 states in the U.S.

7 What is a flag? A flag is a rectangular piece of cloth. Each flag is different. The United States has a flag.

8 What colors are our flag? The flag of the United States is red, white and blue. There are red and white stripes. There is a blue square in the upper left hand corner of the flag. There are white stars on the blue square.
