4 Title I, Part A Improving Basic Programs Goals/Purpose: To provide opportunities for children served to acquire the skills to meet State academic standards. All services must be scientifically- based and meet compliance standards.

8 Parents Right To Know Each year, the school district must notify parents of students attending Title I schools (all campuses in SAISD) at least the minimum information: Whether all teachers meet the highly qualified status, Whether any teacher is teaching under an emergency certificate,

9 Parents Right To Know Continued The type of degrees the teachers hold and, Whether or not paraprofessionals meet the highly qualified status.
