He was born in Geneva (Switzerland) in 1712 Her mother died within a week of his birth His father was exilied He escaped to France with 16 years He met a lot of philosophers, he studied and he won a lot of prizes. He also published some books He died in Ermenonville (France) in 1778 (the cause was a cardiac problem)

- POSITIVES : others philosophers say that Rousseau is right because freedom make us more happy - NEGATIVES : some others philosophers say that if we are in a total freedom, the world would be a decontrol
