Sacramento Parent Meeting Please make sure you signed in

Things you can/should bring All adults must bring a picture identification for the plane ride. Students should bring a backpack to carry items on the trip. Electronic devices may be used on the plane (when permitted by the pilot) but not on the bus or in the airport. Cameras and camera phones may be used throughout the trip. Parents and students should wear a Rhodes shirt.

Other items Cell phones should be used for emergencies only. Please make sure to bring only items that are allowed on planes as not to delay our trip. We will be on a tight schedule. There will be time to buy souvenirs at Old Town and the Airport. There is not a meal provided on the morning flight.

Itinerary 5:15 a.m. Meet at the Southwest Airlines counter at Ontario Airport. 6:40 Board the plane 7:00 Plane leaves for Sacramento. 8:25 Arrive in Sacramento and meet our travel guide

Itinerary 8:35 Board the bus. 10:00 Arrive at the Marshall Gold Discovery Park in Coloma 10:30 Pan for gold in the American River 11:30 Go to Gold Rush Museum/Sutter’s Mill/Hike? 12:00 Lunch at Campground 12:30 Leave for Sacramento

Itinerary 1:15 Go to Sutter’s Fort 2:00 Arrive at State Capitol Building---Tour, Meet with Assemblyman? 3:30 Leave for Railroad Museum ---stay until 5. Shop at the end 5:00 Free time in Old Town Sacramento 6:00 Dinner at Round Table 6:45 Leave for Airport 7:15 Arrive at Sacramento Airport (Plenty of time for souvenirs.) 8:45 Flight Leaves Sacramento for Ontario 10:00 Arrive in Ontario

Other Items Students without parents will be given a parent who is “in charge of them”. If there is a parent you prefer please let us know, and we will switch it. Bus #1-Rossen, Fort, Purdy Bus #2-Gumz and King Do not let kids go off on their own EVER! (Please escort kids to the restroom also.) If you were given a student, it is on the sign in sheet. Questions
