31. Paper presented to Glasgow City Council Education Directorate – Recommendations: Each school should develop a specific smokefree policy. Smokefree policy development needs to recognise the immediate outside environment of a school and implementation of the policy needs to reflect this Schools should explore how they can develop smokefree policy as part of the wider curriculum aiming to bring about change in its wider community present the learning from this project to senior management within schools with the aim to facilitate this leadership role Schools should develop actions to explore how the themes around connectedness can be incorporated into the wider health and well-being programmes currently delivered.
