Facts about the tiger When a tiger roars it can be heard from 2 miles away.tigers the biggest species of the cat family. In short burst,tigers can run up to 40 min/hr. Most tiger have up to 100 stripes. No one knows why tigers have stripes but scientist think the stripes act for camouflage, and help tigers hide from their prey.
