2. Mission and Vision  CARE believes in providing safety and care for homeless animals and abandoned animals and education for the pet owning public. CARE makes every effort to place animals into loving homes, to encourage population control and to promote responsible pet ownership. We are dedicated to providing education and support to the community by being the local animal welfare resource center. Additional CARE Services that Add Value for GARCO  CARE’s services eliminates the need for GARCO to euthanize unwanted animals.  For fifteen years, CARE has provided multiple programs to GARCO citizens, as well as basic animal control services.  CARE is partially funded by private donations, which offset the cost of services provided to GARCO.  CARE’s staff and hundreds of community stakeholders/volunteers work for the benefit of animals and citizens.
