Student Senate HOW TO CLAIM YOUR ALLOCATIONS AND SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING

Allocation Funding This is money your organization was awarded last year to cover expenses for this year Allocations are awarded for expected costs like annual trips, annual events, big purchases (equipment, venues, speakers, etc.). Check your Allocation request form to see what you were awarded money for. If you don't know what you were awarded, feel free to email me at emily.capper@wartburg.edu emily.capper@wartburg.edu Supplemental Funding This is one-time funding for things like conferences, trips, one-time events, or similar purposes You are able to claim your funds after submitting an application and approval from full Senate Check your supplemental request form to see what you were awarded money for ALLOCATION VS SUPPLEMENTAL

All allocation and supplemental requests have to be claimed three days before test day in May Term WHEN TO CLAIM YOUR MONEY

Have digital or printed copies of all transactions/receipts that you are trying to get reimbursed from the funds Allocated to your organization STEP 1: GATHERING RECIEPTS

Option 1: Drop the receipts off at the Senate office (located inside of The Hub) If no one is in the office, place receipts in the envelope with the attached piece of paper lying outside Option 2: Email digital copies of receipts to emily.capper@wartburg.eduemily.capper@wartburg.edu Be sure to include information providing what organization you are associated with STEP 2: TURN IN RECEIPTS
