Lewis & Clarke Expedition Activity Directions 1) You will be divided up into three groups 2) You will be going around to different stations to analyze the Lewis and Clark Expedition 3) You have 10 minutes at each station to complete the questions. READ THE DIRECTIONS AT EACH STATION!!

The Louisiana Purchase / Lewis & Clark Expedition HW Directions: Construct a four (4) paragraph essay explaining the importance of the Louisiana Purchase during Jefferson’s presidency. Cite evidence using worksheets F2, F3, and F4 summarized what happened during the Lewis and Clark expedition and their findings and encounters. Questions to consider What did the Louisiana Purchase do for the United States? What would this land provide for the future? Why would Jefferson’s choose Lewis and Clark? How was Sacagawea an important figure? What did they find on this expedition? Who did they encounter and how did these encounters go? Due: Monday February 8 th, 2016
