ProgramDeliverables IMPACT LA GK-12 Program Train Graduate students Provide Teachers with hands-on learning activities and increase understanding of STEM Infuse Computer Engineering and Science into 6-12 th grade Science and Math Courses Work with 12-15 teachers over the next 5 years in three high Schools MESA School Program Partner with 18 High Schools and Middle Schools in LA Region Conduct Hands on Math, Science and Engineering activities with 500 students per year Pre-ECST Academy Provide College Credit for 100-200 High school Students in STEM using existing course taught at CSULA Grow the program by 25% each year for the next 5 years M.A.S.S. Cisco Training Academy Provide Cisco Training for 30 students per year from the M.A.S.S. HENAAC/SHPE SciTech Summer Program Provide motivation and exposure to top high school juniors to major into STEM fields upon matriculation into College SHPE Science Bowl Competition that motivates students into Careers in the STEM field Boeing Day Conduct MESA Orientation for 500 MESA Student Conduct a College Open House for 1000 prospective High school and Transfer Students HENAAC Value Chain Initiative Provide awareness and motivation into STEM Careers into the 13 schools that make up the Roosevelt High school Complex Provide workshops for 20 teachers per year on improving STEM pedagogy V.E.S.T.E.D.
