Other National Perspectives Look for ARC guidelines to have more significant changes next fall. Seeking more clarity, always! State & Tribal funding aka 128(a) funding is moving toward an allocation formula. Power+ Plan – look for it in AWP, possibly Job Training Climate Change – now required in the Analysis of Brownfield Alternative (ABCA)s, may be expanding it into assessment and cleanup guidelines Next National Brownfields meeting not final, but Pittsburg is a top contender The Technical Assistance to Brownfields (TAB) 5 year grant was re- competed this year.

Regional Program Priorities Support Development of our Brownfield Associations! New Grantee meeting jointly held with FBA in Jacksonville, FL in September We’ll be looking for volunteer State BF Associations to host 2017’s New Grantee meeting….? Outreach efforts: Appalachian coal communities, Huntington, WV September, 2016 Planning Districts webinar Close-out/ Next Steps webinar – moving to revitalization

State Associations: Growth Opportunity for the EPA Region 4 States Serves as expertise; knowledge base Support network for grantees before, during and after EPA grant Education role – esp. for State legislatures Outreach role – expanding sectors represented in association Networking with other State Associations
