How to plant Sunflowers Sunflowers are very captious of the amount of light they receive. Therefore you need to find a place that meets to the sunflowers liking. The Helianthus plant have long tap roots which need to spread out so the plant needs to have a well-dug place. Helianthus plants thrive off of photosynthesis and phototropism.

How to plant Radish Radishes need to be planted four to six weeks before the average date of last frost. The seeds need to be sow ½ inches deep and 1 inch apart in rows 12 inches apart (if planted outside) The Raphanus Sativus thrive off of photosynthesis. Raphanus Sativus can produce bountiful crops each season due to it’s days of maturity.

How we planted sunflowers Our group planted the Helianthus plant inside and outside, we wanted to test a theory we came up with to see which one would be most agile. The one inside did grow faster it was given a head start and was planted a week before the one outside was planted. The one outside made its comeback it did not take long for it to grow but it did not reach the stage the one outside did. The one inside received the most light but that light was not sunlight. Our theory about the one inside is that it will not reach maturity due to the lack of nutrients.

How we planted Radish We did the same for the Raphanus Sativus we planted them inside and outside. The RSI (Raphanus Sativus Inside) grew expeditiously it also received a week head start. The RSO (Raphanus Sativus Outside) also grew rapidly within four days of it being germinated it grew 1cm. Our theory is that the one outside will thrive and the one inside my have a chance of surviving if it receives the right amount of photosynthesis.

Conclusion The Helianthus plant outside is still alive and will thrive and reach maturity. The RSO (Raphanus Sativus Outside) will also survive and reach maturity because like the Helianthus plant the Raphanus Sativus got the right amount of sunlight and water it needed. The Helianthus plant inside did not reach maturity it sadly withered away and died it lacked the amount of sunlight and water. The RSI ( Raphanus Sativus Inside) also withered away and died due to lack of nutrients i.e. (water, sunlight, and supervision).
