1. Introduction Joanne McCullough I am a mother of two children both of them are boys which are now adults.

2. Professional background My professional background is that I finish high School with a diploma in a small town. I work at an industry factory that made ladies and men under wears. When the plant closed down, I went back to school. I have obtained a diploma in Medical Assistant, Associate degree, Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education. As of now I am working in the School System as a substitute teacher, part time cashier and going to school online for my master’s degree at Ashford University My interest is that I love to cook, and to read variety of books, especially children books

3. Type of school and one key experience The type of school I attended was public school in which I graduate with a high school diploma and the name of the school is Cairo high School in Cairo, Georgia. A key experience that I had while I was in school is that I was always quiet and shy at times but I always listen and participate in the class. One day one of my teachers told me that I will be a great influence by teaching children and she was right she gave me the courage and the inspiration to have the passion to work with children.

4. Type of position in the future My dream is to become a teacher my belief is that education is an on-going process. In other words, education is life-long learning. I want to be able to be a positive role model for my children and students.

5. Master degree help in the future A master’s degree will help me to learn and help children in different ways not only it will help me to move further up in education. I am a very motivated person and I work hard to accomplish my dream and goals as being a role model in my community to help children and also their parents.
