Load shedding has become a great problem in our country. For example, Sohan could not sleep last night and his sister whose SSC exam is going on could not study either due to load- shedding. Load –shedding is maximum in the months of May and June for sharp rise of temperature. During this time people including students fall in intense crisis. The reason behind this crisis is a great shortage of electricity. The current demand for electricity is motor than 6,000MW a day but the supply is around 4,200MW only.
17
The summer night being sticky hot, life became hell without electricity.
18
A summer day is very hot. Temperature may rise up to 40 degree Celcious. Humidity rises up to 90 per cent in the atmosphere.Besides, there may be sweat, and wet, damp and stinky environment all the time.
19
Most of the area remains dark for long hours during load- shedding.
20
During the load-shedding at night people use a candle light or a hurricane lamp or a carosene lamp
21
What happened to Sohan last night ? How was the summer night ? How is a summer day ? What happens during load- shedding in Sohan`s area ? What do people use at night during load –shedding ?
