2 Unit 2 Algebraic Expressions MODEL: Definition: ADefinition: A mathematical phrase that can contain ordinary numbers, variables (like x or y) and operators (like add, subtract, multiply, and divide).

3 Unit 2 base MODEL: Definition: the number that is raised to a power or multiplied by itself the exponent number of times.

4 Unit 2 COEFFICIENT MODEL: Definition: The numerical factor in a term. The number next to the variable, multiplied by the variable.Definition: The numerical factor in a term. The number next to the variable, multiplied by the variable.

5 Unit 2 COMMUTATIVE PROPERTY OF ADDITION MODEL: Definition: This property states that order does not matter when you are adding.
