10. Board Members and Roles Membership: Reach out to informatics departments at hospitals within our designated zip code area to join ANIA and enhance membership at our local chapter. Engage colleges and universities that offer Nursing Informatics related classes to also consider membership in ANIA. Education: Contact ANIA to discuss Speakers Bureau opportunities for our future meetings. Develop a brief Learning Needs Assessment for local members to determine education opportunities moving forward. Communication: Acquire email addresses of local chapter members for internal communication purposes. Maintain and update this email address list. Regulation/Advocacy: Report out National and State level issues in nursing/nursing informatics Social: Aid in determination of future local meeting sites. Inquire as to vendor support for future local meetings.
