5 UNIVERSITY OF SARAJEVO - PROFILE University of Sarajevo is the lead university in Bosnia and Herzegovina and one of the leading universities in the region. This is traditionally the most popular and the most prestigeous higher education institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

6 Traces of its foundation can be found in 16th century. Its oldest member institutions are Gazi Husrevbey Library, National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Catholic Theology. 26 NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES 1.EU Students uniformed (change of faculties/academies) upon arrival which create additional work after beginning of the academic year and some complaints from our faculties and academies 2.No draft/structure of the Learning Agreement (brings to do more administration work after their arrival, when it should be all sorted out) 3.Low knowledge of English language from EU side (few examples of students that have low knowledge of English which caused problems with teachers)
