Then he thought, “If I am too slow,everyone will be in trouble by the time I bring help. “ So Salah started to RUN..

4. Just then an enemy soldier saw him and shouted, ”Someone is getting away. Get him ! “ Salah was running to get help.An enemy soldier fired his gun. The bullet hit Salah … But he wasn’t hurt.. Fortunately, the bullet hit a button on his shirt. If the bullet hadn’t hit the button, it would have killed him. The bullet knocked Salah over. He stayed on the ground.

5. He wanted the enemy to think he was dead. If he had moved they would have shot him again. Our soldiers started to shoot.The enemy soldiers hid behind rocks.When they weren’t looking, Salah stood up and got away ….

When Salah arrived home, He gave the button to his little girl the button helped her to feel safe when she thought about her brave father.She looked after this button carefully till she gave it to her grandson Bassam. Bassam’s grandma said “ I am going to give you something. It will help you to remember your great grandfather and to be calm and patient like him.” She said that she had put the present in a bag, But Bassam must promise not to look inside it. She wanted him to promise two things

7. First, to work hard. Second, to take the bag to school everyday and look after it carefully. After a month, Bassam passed all his exams and he was first in maths and science. Bassam thought he succeeded.Because he had his great grand father’s button. He was surprised to find a stone in the bag not the button, so his grandmother told him that he passed because he worked hard and revised. He wasn’t nervous and he was calm, confident and patient.

8. What should you do before passing an exam? Do you want to join the Egyptian army ? What will you do if you are patient and relax ? What would you do if you were in trouble?
