2. My name is Dianna Irving I have been married for 16 years. We have one beautiful Princess 10 year old daughter named Damiyah and a cute little Chihuahua named Princess Reba.

3. Future Goals My future plans are to complete my Masters Degree Program, Continue my business as and Independent Educational Consultant and provide more trainings for Teachers and Educators in the Child Care Field. Create and implement a Culturally Sensitive Diversity Teaching training plan for school staff.

4. Challenges The challenges that I’ve faced throughout this journey pursuing my Masters is the use of so many different computer resources that I was not use too, balancing family life, school, church, working full-time, supporting my daughter and her many activities while staying sane and just the fear of being able to complete all the course work. In order to face the challenges because I am a very spiritual person I used that as a way to find my strength to overcome my fears and just tried to do my best when obstacles arrived. Completing the Masters Program is a way for me to use my expertise to further my career in the education field.

5. This quote reminds us that we have to do things different with children than we have in the past we have to prepare them for 21 st century learning and if we do not then we hold them in the past versus them moving forward.

6. Professional and Educational Background I have been in the Education field for over 26 years. Working in many capacities as a preschool school teacher, Education Manager for Head Start, Licensing Inspector and many others. I was a substitute teacher and I have a Educational Consulting Business. I was recently hired as a Director for a Child Development Center. I have a Bachelors Degree in Child Development and currently pursuing my Masters Degree in Education with a Specialization in Culturally Responsive Education.
