1. To Kill A Mockingbird Webquest Project

2. Directions  The goal of this webquest is to have YOU become experts on a certain topic that relates to To Kill A Mockingbird. The topics are: About the Author, The Scottsboro Boys, Jim Crow Laws, and The Great Depression. You will learn all about one of these areas by reading through the websites provided, answering questions, and creating a PowerPoint presentation to share with classmates. We will do “About the Author” as a class and then divide up into groups for the last three topics.  1. You will be given either a 1, 2, or 3 meaning--Group 1: The Scottsboro Boys, Group 2: Jim Crow Laws, or Group 3: The Great Depression.  2. You will access the correct page of this PowerPoint and, as a group, read through the websites and answer the questions provided. If a group finishes early, they should go to the “Fun Stuff" page to learn more about To Kill A Mockingbird.  3. After the questions are answered, groups will create a PowerPoint, answering the questions.  4. On presentation day, students will present their information to the class and the rest of the class will record the information.
