2 NAEYC’s Global Vision Engage Early Childhood Development community and strengthen international systems. Work with other nations to connect policy and implementation to developmentally appropriate practice (DAP). Convene professionals engaged in early childhood development system building. Provide a framework for considering the role of standards in early childhood development. Integrate best practice into a system that supports early childhood programs, professionals & learning. All young children are able to thrive and learn in a society dedicated to ensuring that they reach their full potential.

4 Technical Assistance Work in partnership with governments and large- scale systems to: to build capacity at national and local levels that nurtures leadership development in ECE professionals to support creations of comprehensives frameworks for early learning from which an integrated system of professional development, reliable assessment and reflective quality improved can be developed to develop standards that emphasize developmentally appropriate content and expectations and are reviewed through informed and inclusive processes to align U.S.-focused resources and expertise with international and country-specific documents to identify intersections and gaps
