LATE! Combined test beams (barrel wedge) (done) Computing Model paper (almost done) Computing Memorandum of Understanding (in progress) ATLAS Computing TDR and LCG TDR (starting) DC3: produce data for PRR and test LCG-n Physics Readiness Report (perhaps?) Start cosmic ray run GO! 2004 2005 2006 2007 NOW

Dario Barberis: Conclusions ATLAS Software Week - 10 December 2004 3 Many discussions this week l Feedback from CTB l Issues related to DC2 operation l Grid middleware and our production system l Software development and release plans l Software testing l Planning and scheduling methodology l New ESRAT coordination nArmin Nairz will take over as Geant4 Coordinator from January 2005 l Release schedule for 2005 l Computing Model and Resources l Some of these issues will come up for discussion again this afternoon in the CMB/SPMB meeting

Dario Barberis: Conclusions ATLAS Software Week - 10 December 2004 4 Format of the Software & Computing week l A few main sessions and several shorter “working group” meetings nup to 3 parallel sessions l Some main “tracks”: nSimulation, Reconstruction, EDM, PESA, Physics Analysis Tools nData Challenges, Production System, Grid Middleware nCore Software, Infrastructure, Data Management nComputing Model, ICB l Question 1: ndo people like it this way? please give us feedback before we start organizing next s/w week l Question 2: nwhere do we place tutorials? in s/w week in parallel with everything else near s/w week with week-end in-between (people travel once) far from s/w week (people travel twice)
