3. LION BACK Lions are in the Felidae family. They weigh 190kg plus, 1.6m and live for 15 years. Males have a big mane but females don’t. Lions have facial markings called whisker spots. Like our fingerprints, no two are the same. Females do most of the hunting. They chase their prey towards other lions waiting to pounce. 4. ZEBRA ZEBRAZEBRA BACK Zebras are in the Eqiudae family. They weigh 250Kg, there height is 1.2m and live for 20 years. They live in herds of 1 hundred. No two Zebras are the same. 5. LeopardLeopard BACK Leopards (like lions) are in the Felidae family. They have spots all over their body. Some leopards have such dark fur that their spots are hidden, they are called black panthers. Leopards are found in Africa and some of Asia. In 1997 a leopard escaped from a zoo and attacked two elderly men and ran into a empty house! It ate a cooked meal, broke crockery and then fell a sleep in a kitchen sink. 6. Nile perch BACK The Nile perch ( Lates Nitoticus) weigh 500Ibs and are6 feet in length. They live for 16 years. There eggs hatch with in 20 hours after being laid. Nile perch have been introduced to many other lakes including lake Victoria in 1962. It lives in the Congo, Nile, Senegal, Niger and lake Chad, Volta, Lake Turkana and other river basins.

7. Goliath tigerfish The Goliath tigerfish ( Hydrocynus Goliath ) is one of the worlds biggest freshwater fish. It’s 180 centimetres and 50Ibs. This fish is feared all through it’s home, the Congo basin. Its moon shaped tale makes it go fast. It has 32 jagged teeth, each tooth is one inch long.
