2. (adj) well known, legendary, famous for something Sentence: Sid Vicious was notorious for being a delinquent bully, so most kids avoided the vicinity that he hung out in. Prompt: Write about what you are notorious for.

3. (adjective) describes something that no longer exists or is used. Prompt: Things that you think are cool now will one day be obsolete. Write about what things you think might one day be obsolete and what they might be replaced with.

6. (noun) the effect, results, or consequences of something Sentence: The Mafia godfather warned the man that if he didn’t pay back his debt, there would be many unpleasant ramifications to come. Prompt: Write about a time in your life when you made a bad choice…what were the ramifications? (Write at least 75 words)

7. (verb) to look at something very carefully and closely in an attempt to find faults or defects. Sentence: The judge scrutinized everything the witness said pointing out inconsistencies in his statement. Prompt: Write about the person that scrutinizes you the most. (Write at least 75 words)

8. (adj) describes someone who betrays someone that trusts them or are loyal to them. Prompt: Write about a time in your life when someone was treacherous to you. (Write at least 50 words) Sentence: Marcy thought that Helga was her best friend, but in reality she was treacherous and Diabolical because she told everyone Marcy’s secrets.

9. (adj) describes someone that is strange; odd; awkward Sentence: When Lisa agreed to go on a blind date with Marvin she was embarrassed because she didn’t expect him to be so uncouth. Prompt: Write about uncouth people that you know. (Write at least 75 words)

(adj) describes someone or something that is very annoying, nettling, or disturbing Sentence: As hard as I tried to concentrate on my classwork, my vexatious and infuriating partner made it impossible. Prompt: Write about the most vexatious person or thing that you have been around. (Write at least 75 words)

11. (noun) a bet: (verb) to bet Sentence: Many people that watch races will often wager. Prompt: Write about a time when you made a wager. (Write at least 75 words)
