The FHSP with Endorsements With few exceptions, all students will be required to earn an endorsement in one of the following areas: 1. Arts and Humanities 2. Business and Industry 3. Public Services 4. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) 5. Multidisciplinary Studies PASADENA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT A Gateway to Unlimited Opportunity

The FHSP with Endorsement Each endorsement requires 26 credits total. This must include a: 4 th Math 4 th Science 2 Additional Electives PASADENA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT A Gateway to Unlimited Opportunity

Distinguished Level of Achievement To earn the distinguished level of achievement, students must complete: FHSP (Foundation High School Program) An endorsement Algebra II Students completing the distinguished level are eligible for college admission under the Top 10% automatic admissions provision. Performance Acknowledgement A student may qualify for a performance acknowledgement For outstanding performance In a dual credit course In bilingualism and biliteracy On an AP test On the PSAT, SAT or ACT For earning a nationally or internationally recognized business or industry certification or license PASADENA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT A Gateway to Unlimited Opportunity
