Early Warning Indicators allow educators to use specific academic criteria to identify students who are not on track for academic success. Any student that is considered off-track is placed on what Kickboard calls the “Off-Track Report” and several visual indicators appear throughout the site. What is an Early Warning Indicator & Where Can I go to See Them?

Once a student is considered off-track visual indicators are displayed throughout the site and can be viewed on: o The Off-Track Report (Reports->Student Reports) o The Daily Activity Page (Culture->Daily Activity) o The Student Profile (Students->Roster->Click Bar Graph) o The School Dashboard (Dashboard->School) What is an Early Warning Indicator & Where Can I go to See Them?

Early Warning Indicators are setup by us here at Kickboard. Early Warning Indicators can be requested by the school’s Kickboard Admin by emailing requests to support@kickboardforteachers.com Who is able to Setup an Early Warning Indicator?

Overall GPA Failing Specific or Multiple Courses Percentage of Skills Mastered Attendance Behavior Point Total Number/Checkbox Custom Field Criteria

A Student is considered off-track if his/her GPA <= 2.0 GPA <= 2.0 = Off-Track Overall GPA

A Student is considered off-track if his/her average in Math is <= 80% OR A Student is considered off-track if his/her average in Math & English is <= 80% Course(s) Average <= 80% = Off-Track Failing Specific or Multiple Courses

A Student is considered off-track is she/he has not mastered 80% of Math and English standards. Math + English Standards <= 80% = Off-Track Percentage of Skill Mastered

A Student is considered off-track of he/she has greater than 3 absences or 6 tardies. 3 Absences OR 6 Tardies = Off-Track Attendance

A Student is considered off-track if she/he has a behavior point total of -30 or less. -$30/-30 Demerits = Off-Track Behavior Point Total

A Student is considered off-track if he/she has a custom field on their profile page less than 70. OR A Student is considered off-track if she/he has a custom field on their profile page that is checked. Number/Checkbox Custom Field

A Student is considered off-track if his/her GPA <=2.0 AND their Behavior Point Total is <= -30. A Student is considered off-track if she/he has a custom field on their profile page that is checked AND a GPA <3.0. Combining/Stacking Criteria
