Our Mission Based on the humanistic ideas to enhance the quality of life of the people living with HIV/AIDS by means of joint efforts of all who is concerned, in order to offer psychological, social, counseling and legal support and to advocate accessibility to the treatment and diagnostic for PLWH in Ukraine. Strategic Directions To promote access to non-medical care, treatment and support; To lobby and advocate rights of people living with HIV/AIDS; To promote tolerant society's attitude towards people living with HIV/AIDS; To enhance All-Ukrainian Network's organizational capacity.

Treatment Treatment for 137 people is paid by the government Network is taking part in implementation of treatment programs Social workers and HIV-positive people can provide psychological support for patients that start ARV-treatment Network influenced canceling the tender on buying expensive generic drugs

Overcoming stigma and discrimination International Candle Light Memorial Day that is held in Ukraine annually on third Sunday of May Today the event-requiem covers 16 regions and 25 cities of Ukraine In 2004 during the event 49 400 people received information about HIV Today event is a part of city events plans

Conclusion NGO can improve the quality of life of HIV-positive people only in close collaboration with governmental structures; NGO position should be the position of equal partner because NGO has necessary resources to provide services; NGO realizes programs and provides services that cannot be provided by the government; NGO play an important role in building democratic society.
