Cable Park owners Business to run – to live from Profit organization Income oriented – stay in business Professional Federation Non profit group Volunteer based Sport oriented – Grow the sport – Training – Competitions Let us (= federation) be the link between the Cable Parks and the connection with the sport.

Sport know how – support : Training (recreational to competition) Advise on operations on the water: – Maintenance support – connections – Environmental input – reports of environmental studies – Safe operation –Operator training –Machine integrity control –Communication on incident investigations –Insurance

Cableski Council Slide: 6 What can we offer? Cont. Equipment purchase (group purchases) On the water: – Buoys, obstacles (kicker – slider), courses, ramp, … On the shore: – Boards, ski’s – Wetsuits, life savers – Ropes – Handles

Cableski Council Slide: 7 Work for IWWF (E&A) Be the coordinator Facilitate the global purchase, find offers, negotiate deals Provide sports insurance for members on the water Work out training sessions (cable operators – sports trainers) Be the contact body for maintenance guidance – machine integrity control Provide environmental impact reports – ecology data Facilitate with (competition) organizations – events on the water

Cableski Council Slide: 8 Do’s and don’ts Do not ask the Cable Park to register ALL their members Freedom to the numbers / system to register Money is not the show stopper here. Do work out benefits per quota – create incentives to register more customers / visitors of the Cable Park Create incentives for the customers / visitors themselves Make them want to become member: –Advantages for skiing at other Cable Parks –Participation at water ski / wakeboard events –Training
