ENTRANCE Make sure you have all necessary materials for class each day. Enter the classroom quietly. Go directly to your assigned seat. Start Bellwork immediately. WHEN THE BELL RINGS WHEN THE BELL RINGS Finish Bellwork and write down any homework assignments and important dates. When you finish, read or wait quietly for the next direction. DURING INSTRUCTION Listen to the teacher with full attention. No pencil sharpening, talking, or whispering. Ask permission to speak by raising your hand. Ask questions related to the subject. HALL PASSES If you have an EMERGENCY, raise your hand and let me know. Fill out the Sign out log. You must have a hall pass to leave. Be sure to sign back in when you return. Bathroom PASSES You will receive 4 bathroom passes per quarter. Any passes not used can be submitted at the end of each quarter for extra credit. Do not ask to go to the bathroom during direct instruction. You must fill out and submit your bathroom pass and hall pass before you leave. You will receive 4 bathroom passes per quarter. DISMISSAL Pick up around your desk and take garbage to the trashcan Wait for Ms. Loeffler to dismiss you. The ringing of the bell does NOT dismiss you. Do NOT line up at the door. Remain in your seat until you are dismissed. Class will not be dismissed until class materials are away and all trash is picked up. ASSIGNMENTS All assignments are located on the front board and on my website. It is YOUR responsibility to keep track of assignments and due dates. Assignments will be collected on the due date. LATE WORK Absolutely NO late assignments are accepted. Long term Projects, Writing, and UPA’s must be turned in the day they are due, even if you are not in class. FIRE DRILL FIRE DRILL During a fire drill, walk out the door, turn left and exit the building through the front doors of the Media Center. Wait in the parking lot in front of the building until the drill is over. Return to class promptly.
