5 Research The Center of Excellence for Food Safety Research in Child Nutrition Programs at Kansas State University provides science- based solutions to problems affecting food safety in child nutrition programs across the United States. 6 Data Analyses Through a partnership with CDC, OFS analyzes foodborne outbreak data reported through NORS. Analyses are used to inform OFS research and education efforts. Research

7 Education & Instruction In cooperation with the Institute of Child Nutrition (ICN) at the University of Mississippi, OFS provides food safety education and instruction that promotes the continuous improvement of child nutrition programs.
