28 Individual AWARDS Recruit 1:  Recruit 1 NEW SENIOR member  Submit Recruit 1 form to National Headquarters by May 1, 2014 to receive a Recruit 1 button.  Note: One entry per recruiter.

29 Individual AWARDS Rejoin 1:  Rejoin 1 FORMER SENIOR member (Must not have paid dues after 2011)  Submit Rejoin 1 form to National Headquarters by May 1, 2014 to receive a Rejoin 1 button.  Note: One entry per recruiter

31 Unit AWARDS Unit Renewal Award:  Units that retain/renew 100% of 2013 membership as of 12.31.13 ( less any deceased after paying 2013 dues ) by April 8, 2014 will be eligible for a $100 cash drawing.  Checks made payable to Unit for mission outreach and/or membership efforts.  Note: Eligible units tracked and submitted to NHQ by their Dept (see verification form). Verification forms due in NHQ by May 16, 2014

32 Department AWARDS Renewal Award:  National recognition to dept with highest % of SENIOR RENEWALS in their division by June 1, 2014.  $300 awarded to winning department in each division.  $500 awarded to department with highest % of renewals overall. New Member Renewal Award:  National recognition to dept with highest % of NEW SENIOR RENEWALS in each division by June 1, 2014.  $350 awarded to winning department in each division.  $500 awarded to department with highest % of new 2013 senior member renewals overall.

33 Department AWARDS Milestones: For each milestone achieved, Departments receive National recognition and badge ribbons for delegates at National Convention.  Milestone 1: 55% - Veteran’s Day (November 11, 2013)  Milestone 2: 70% - Valentine’s Day/Salute to Hospitalized Veterans (February 14, 2014)  Milestone 3: 85% - Armed Forces Day (May 17, 2014)  Milestone 4: 100% - 30 Days prior to National Convention (July 24, 2014)

84 New Member Process Individual completes Membership Application Eligibility verified by local Post Officer. Applicant pays current year dues to Unit. Dues amount member pays includes unit, department, and national portion. Member receives membership card from Unit. Unit transmits Department & National portions of dues, along with original application, to their Department Headquarters Department enters new member into ALAMIS & pays National portion of dues ($9.00) online Member is marked as paid for current year in ALAMIS

85 Renewal Process Members whose dues are paid in ALAMIS before Sept. 1 st will not receive a Renewal Notice. Once dues are paid to Unit, member should receive her membership card. OR A member whose dues have not been paid via ALAMIS will receive a Renewal Notice Member submits her dues payment to the address indicated on the renewal notice. Unit provides card to renewing member.
