Locality planning processes A ‘locality’ is a geographical area that includes all people who live in the area. A locality approach aims to place local communities at the heart of how health services are planned and where and how they are delivered. This will help us to Work with our communities and our primary care providers to identify the key health concerns in a particular area. Support conversations with other government and local government organisations for ‘collective impact’. Support increased community voice in health decisions for better outcomes. Ensure the best value for dollar for each community. Develop innovative solutions to the challenges that may arise from changes in workforce and population trends. Grow healthy communities.
