Our requirements: Lifting and handling equipment shall handle the 18% slope ( strong recommendation from operator to use overhead cranes) No electronic or motor can be left inside the experimental cavern during operation due to high radiation level. Equipment shall be remotely operated during maintenance of the horn or of the reflector using cameras for supervising the operation. Equipment shall be left available for dismantling. 28/05/2014B. Overview of the handling equipment: 1 surface overhead crane 1 remotely operated underground overhead crane equipped with vision system and electrically operated hook. 1 remotely operated gantry crane with vision system and electrically operated hook installed on a cable driven trolley. (The driving mechanisms for the trolley are installed in the far end of the morgue). Lifting capacity for all these devices: 40 Tons 28/05/2014B. Feral16
