We bring old paper to school and our school gets money for it. We recycle about 7.5 tons of old paper a year.

1 packet of paper sheets = 3 kg Our school needs about 189.5 packets of paper a year 189.5 x 3 = 568.5 kg Do you know how many trees we need?
8
To make 1.000 kg of paper you need about 13 trees with a trunk of about 20 cm in diameter. Our school needs about 7.39 trees a year.
9
Recycling PET bottles we get materials for our sweatshirts, sleeping bags, winter jackets, etc. Do you like drinking coca cola? What do you do with PET bottles?
10
Do you separate the waste? Do you know what is each coloured bin for? Glass paper plastic beverage cartons glass metal dangerous waste bio-waste
