Common Core State Standards Data Driven InstructionAPPR CIA Network Committee Career and Tech Career and Tech is just beginning the discussion about CCSS in staff meetings / academic team meetings. Met recently for first time with some Sp. Ed. academic teachers to discuss common topics interests. Very data driven at Tech; collect numerous types of data, e.g., accuplacer & portfolio for academics, Technical Assessments / practicals for CTE, social and soft skills employability and work readiness credential. All data informs and drives decisions about instruction. Walkabout Walkabout is integrating CCSS into new and existing units and using individualized student assessments to align curriculum with CCSS. Walkabout is using student surveys, course evaluations, and individualized assessment to promote Data Driven Instruction

Weekly CIA Project meeting I see evidence of real excellence in my job when I see my staff seek engagement in reflective professional dialogues. Staff feedback at faculty meetings I see evidence of real excellence in my job when I see myself and fellow colleagues engaged in dialogue on resolutions based on student needs.
