History of the King 1955, signs had the King shown sitting on a "burger throne" as well as atop the BK sign while holding a beverage. In the 1980’s Burger King started using an animated version of the King –would present children with gifts or buy them some Burger King food.present children This campaign paralleled McDonald's

Revamp of the King The most recent ad campaign for the BK Homestyle Melt sandwiches –hit on himhit on him –new products are moving in on the women's territory, making lunch for kids.
