4 INTRODUCTION Since 1880 vaccines have been the solution humans to prevent many diseases, prevent epidemics and deaths, but in 1998 came news that caused a lot of people take the option not to vaccinate their children. Dr. Andrew Wakefield revealed a story which linked vaccines to autism. This news has caused quite a stir and many parents have taken the decision not to vaccinate their children. But How real is this news ? What if I decide not to vaccinate my child? What are the risks of vaccines ? Before making a decision about vaccines is good to know the answer to these questions. In this presentation we will provide the information you need to know about vaccines and their impact.

5 The vaccines are biological drugs to healthy people applied that causes the generation of defenses (antibodies) that you act protecting Against contact with infectious agent’s future against which we vaccinate, infection or disease preventative.

7 The name of the doctor that you see in the photo is Andrew Wakefield As I explained earlier Dr. Andrew Wakefield invented the theory which linked vaccines to autism. Andrew who this theory was invented based on a study conducted with 12 autistic children. It is believed that mercury in MMR vaccine was the main reason of autism in children in Original. After this research they have been many more studies where data do not support the vaccines to autism. In addition to this they have eliminated mercury in vaccines.

13 ACTIVITY Under their chairs there is a role, some of them says a disease and others say the name of a vaccine. Each of you have to look your partner. For example if your paper says chickenpox, you have to look for the person who has the paper that says the chickenpox vaccine in this case is Varivax.

14 CONCLUSION In conclusion the vaccines are very important for human health. In this information we realize that the impact of vaccines never compares to the consequences of not putting vaccines to a child. Every decision is personal, but it's always good to know what is best for a child.
