Curosities The highest mountain in Italy is Mont Blanc. It is 4.810 metres high. The highest waterfall in Italy is the Cascate del Serio. It is about 100 kilometres from Milan. The largest lake in Italy is Lake Garda. There are lots of islands on the lake. The longest river in Italy is the river Po. It is over 650 kilometres long. It goes through many cities. La Maddalena is an arcipelago with seven islands. There are lots of sandy beaches.
