5.  The Wife of Bath was a crass, powerful, rich, and handsome woman.  Gap-teeth  Broad shoulders  Large hips  Pigeon toed  She had been married 5 times and possessed a special “gift” that enchanted all of her husbands  She manipulated men to get what she wanted out of them  She believed herself to be a master of marriage
