Agenda What is the Legacy Client Chart (LCC) Timelines for implementation What does implementation look like Purkinje payments Demo Questions
3
What is the LCC Viewer Developed by AOHC exclusively for the use of or member centres Allows the centre to access and print the data in their Legacy EMRs after migration Saves approximately 150K per year in licence fees to Purkinje No limits to the amount of users
4
The LCC Viewer Strategy According to PHIPA – Health Information Custodians (HICs) are required to store their data for later use Develop a license-free application created by the AOHC for centres to access and print their Purkinje or Healthscreen data without the original applications Create a system that give centres full control and access to their Legacy EMR data Voluntary for centres to use
5
5 things you need to know about the LCC Viewer 1.Pilot or Beta testing 2.Data validation will be required and resources allocated 3.The conversion process can be lengthy 4.System will be implemented in two phases a)Centres that used Purkinje – by December 2015 b)Centres that used Healthscreen – by April 2016 5.Strict timelines
6
Implementation Plan Complete Beta testing Kickoff Webinar followed by the Technical webinar LCC Workplan and executable files available for download as of Oct 1 Centre installs Migration tool and begins migration Validation tool release Centre begins validation Contact ims@aohc.org for Supportims@aohc.org

Implementation Timelines

Contingency for centres Centres unable to complete the data validation process and require on-going access to Purkinje or Healthscreen will be required to pay for a Read-Only license as of January, 2016. AOHC is seeking Ministry funding support for an extension, however, the current budget environment does not make this a likely scenario.
9
Pilot: What have we learned so far? There were 3 centres that took part in the pilot Several system processes were redesigned or enhanced and have now been significantly improved The migration of scanned documents can be delayed if necessary, the viewer will be capable of opening non migrated scanned documents.
10
Purkinje Purkinje is calling centres looking to extend read-only access The AOHC negotiated a strong rate 3 years ago. If your centre chooses to stay with Purkinje for read-only access, please inform the AOHC at ims@aohc.orgims@aohc.org The AOHC will negotiate on the centres behalf to try and reduce costs
