4 Fly through the night to Paris, capital of France. ITINERARY - DAY 1: DEPART

5 Welcome to France! Meet your Forum Tour Manager at the airport in Lyon and help you board your private motor coach to transfer to Bellegarde. Upon arrival, have a short orientation and meet your pen pals. Start your exchange program. While living with a host-family, you will find out that French is more than a textbook language. You will eat French food, meet French people and have an excellent opportunity to practice your French in real-life situations. ITINERARY - DAY 2: LYON - BELLLEGARDE

6 Attend school with your pen pals. Activities and workshops may be organized at the school during your visit (to be confirmed with the French school). ITINERARY - DAY 3-7: EXCHANGE

7 Spend the weekend with your host families. ITINERARY –DAY 8 & 9: WEEKEND IN FAMILY

8 After breakfast, say a fond au revoir to your host families and meet your Forum Tour Manager who will remain with you for the rest of your stay. Board your private bus and start your discovery journey through Provence. Drive to Avignon and with your tour manager, explore the café-lined place de l'Horloge, the site of the city's imposing Hôtel de Ville and clock tower. Also see the Opéra. Later we’re off to see the Palais des Papes with its massive stone vaults, battlements and sluices for pouring hot oil on attackers. Continue to Mallemort, and check-in at your Hotel Adagio Latitude Pont Royal (subject to availability). Dinner with your group at the hotel. ITINERARY - DAY 10: LYON – AVIGNON - MALLEMORT

9 Breakfast at your hotel. Today experience Van Gogh’s vivid and picturesque Provence. Start with a journey to the seaside town of Arles – where Van Gogh fully realized his signature style. Visit key sites like the ancient Arles amphitheater, Saint-Trophime church and the setting of Le café de nuit. After continue to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence to see the triumphal arch and funeral monument. End your day with a visit to the hilltop village of Les Baux de Provence. A charming town with a fantastic position amidst the Alpilles mountains, considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in France. Spend some time discovering the town with your Tour director. Return to your hotel for dinner and night accommodation. ITINERARY - DAY 11: VAN GOGH’S PROVENCE - MALLEMORT

10 This morning after breakfast, Board your private bus to Aix-en-Provence and follow your tour Manager on a Paul Cezanne Walking Tour: Sur les pas de Cézanne. Visit Atelier Cézanne. See the studio of the son of Aix. Free time for lunch This afternoon, get ready for a bit of Science infusion with a visit to Iter, an international nuclear fusion research and engineering megaproject! Return to Mallemort for dinner and night accommodation at your hotel. ITINERARY - DAY 12: AIX EN PROVENCE – ITER - MALLEMORT

11 After and early breakfast, transfer to the train station in Avignon to catch your TGV High speed train to Paris! Upon arrival, a private motor coach will pick you up and take you to Giverny! Visit Claude Monet’s home. Admire the blooming gardens and white water lilies that inspired the Master of Impressionism year after year. Return to Paris and head up to the highest point, Montmartre (known locally as La Butte). Enjoy dinner with your group at a local restaurant in the area. After, climb the steps to reach the Sacré-Cœur, Montmartre’s hilltop church and most famous landmark. Night accommodation in Paris. ITINERARY - DAY 13: MALLEMORT – GIVERNY - PARIS

12 Today after breakfast at your hotel, explore the Musée du Louvre, one of the world's great museums. See the galleries´ masterpieces, including the breath- taking Mona Lisa. Head over to the Île de la Cité for some free time for lunch. Visit the gothic Cathédrale Notre-Dame. This afternoon, admire the view from the third floor of the Tour Eiffel. Dinner with your group at a local restaurant. Night accommodation at a hotel in Paris. ITINERARY - DAY 14: PARIS

13 After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home. ITINERARY - DAY 15: DEPART

15 Before leaving this parent meeting you should leave your email address with the group leader. In the upcoming days, you will receive an email with instructions in regards to how to join this trip The registration deadline is June 1 st Even though we do not charge late registration fees we strongly recommend all families to register by the first payment deadline in order to guarantee your child’s spot on the trip HOW DO I REGISTER? WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED? A passport is the only valid document to travel abroad Passports must be valid at for at least 6 months after your return date Should you not have a passport, you can still register now for this trip However, we strongly recommend that you apply for a passport as soon as you are registered and not leave it for last minute as we will need you to confirm your passport number for issuing your flight tickets in the upcoming months

16 Jamye is the Forum Tour Consultant for your area! Jamye is from northern California and has been living in Málaga, Spain for the last four years. She is fluent in Spanish and currently learning French. She enjoys travelling, meeting new people, and exploring new places.
