Steam engines were not the only engines used in early automobiles Between 1832 and 1839 Robert Anderson of Scotland invented the first electric carriage. Both steam and electric road vehicles were abandoned in favor of gas- powered vehicles.
4
The world's first four-wheeled automobile invented by Gottlieb Daimler in the 1885. The size, speed, and efficiency of the engine allowed for a revolution in car design.

In the mid 20th century cars take a big step from early gas engines to turbodiesel motors Cars found their shape little by little. Opened cars changed to sedan cars. Cars became more comfortable with better tires and suspension.
6
T- Ford is the most popular of early automobiles. It cost under 1000 dollars and normal people could buy it. It have 4- cylinder 2.9 litres gas engine with 20 horsepower.

Low fuel consumption is valued quality nowadays due to high price of gasoline. Many inventions such as hybrid cars and blue- motion technologies have been developed to lower fuel consumption New lighter materials, aluminium for example have replaced old sheet iron as the main material
