2 Session 0: Goals and Contents Contents  The WHAAM application  An introduction to the parents and teacher training At the end of this training participants will be able to:  Understand that the WHAAM application is a dynamic assessment and intervention tool that can:  measure the child´s behaviour according to the context stimulus  register antecedents, behaviours and consequences  monitor intervention implementation  Promote the collaboration between teachers, parents and health professionals

3 Aims: Improve teachers and parents skills to monitor problematic behaviours of ADHD pupils and young adults (age 7-18) Improve the home-school collaboration in the field of ADHD Disseminate knowledge base on ADHD The Web Health Application for ADHD Monitoring WHAAM Project

14 Training Sessions Contents Session 1 (Principles of Functional Behaviour Assessment, FBA) Share each one experience with ADHD: first contact with the children we will talk about during the training. A brief introduction to the ADHD, symptoms, impact on students’ daily life and treatments An introduction to Functional Assessment Behaviour and the different forms we can use to discover the purpose or function of challenging behaviours Session 2 (Principles of FBA) Steps for Implementation: Functional Behaviour Assessment - Identifying the Challenging Behaviour - Direct and indirect measures to collect baseline data about the challenging behaviours - Using the baseline data to formulate na hipothesis about the behaviour Session 3 (Behavioural Intervention) Discuss about the baseline data collected. An introduction to Behaviour Intervention Plans (BIP): - Vital principles - Techniques Session 4 (Joint FBA development) The WHAAM application The participants will define target behaviours, the antecedents and consequences and prepare the WHAAM application to register the data Two week interval for observation with WHAAM Session 5 (Joint BIP dev.) The participants will establish behavioural goals & organize strategies and procedures to achieve them. Will also program the WHAAM application Two week interval for observation with WHAAM Session 6 (Analysis of graphical inf.) The participants will produce, analyze and interpret the information collected with the WHAAM application and will discuss the need to adjust the intervention P; T; HP P & T P; T; HP
