Subjunctive Was (singular) changes to were (plural) – Condition contrary to fact (if, as if, as though) – Statements expressing a wish – Convey a sense of doubt – Make a recommendation, request, or demand

Sub/Verb Agreement Indefinite Pronoun Indefinite pronouns are singular and require a singular verb Exceptions: All, Any, Most, None, Some – Here you have to look to the OP for agreement Most of my students were passing. Most of my meal is delicious.
