CHARLIE KNOX Year: Freshman Major: Computer Engineering Programming robots isn’t as hard as it seems and it’s also very fun, as well as learning man robotics basics UF Goal: Graduating with a GPA of 3.5 or higher Career Goals: Still unsure of where I want to work or what I want to work on specifically but would eventually want to work with or for my brother Work hard on short term goals and the big goals and before you know it you will have accomplished something much larger.

ANGIE FERNANDEZ Freshman Year Industrial Engineering Major This class showed me that programming can be implemented in exciting activities and how useful it really is! I am now more prepared for further programming classes and excited to expand my computer knowledge. While at UF I definitely want to get more involved in other organizations and learning more cool things in engineering! After UF I plan on working for a company for a couple of years and eventually starting my own.

ANGIE FERNANDEZ Find your passion and follow it if you want to succeed! There are so many opportunities and resources available to help and guide you!

MELANIE LEISEN 2nd semester Freshmen I am an Exploratory Engineering major, but I plan on declaring Electrical Engineering as my major in the fall. This course has showed me what Electrical and Computer Engineering consists of. Before taking this course I was unsure of what these majors were about, but after this semester I have a greater understanding of what majoring in either one would be like.
6
MELANIE LEISEN This course will affect my future by providing me with the basic knowledge that will allow me to be successful in the higher level EE or CE courses. I would like to join one of the EE or CE design teams while at UF. I plan on attending Graduate school at UF before working for a big company (plan on working my way up through dedication to a company) My words of wisdom for the next semester of EGN1935 are to pay close attention to the lectures and to learn as much as possible despite the lack of assignments. The lack of assignments allows you to absorb the material without distraction and the material will be pivotal in your higher level classes.

WILLIAM KELLY Freshman Electrical Engineering, changed this semester from Exploratory to Electrical I gained an understanding of what I want to do and what interests me. I was originally looking towards MSE, but after taking this class I have come to really appreciate and want to learn more about the electrical aspect of engineering. Eventually be a part of a team that competes in an engineering competition No long term goals Words of Wisdom: Don’t be afraid to chase your dreams even if you’re the only one that believes in them.
8
JORDAN LIMNER Freshman Computer Engineering (possibly considering EE or CS) More than anything else, this class has shown me the abundant and incredible applications of electrical engineering, and the satisfaction that comes with it This course has made me want to get involved in clubs and teams that focus mainly on group large-scale projects in the future. I currently plan to get a B.S. in Computer Engineering, with hopes to reach an officer level position in at least one engineering club.
9
JORDAN LIMNER Long-term, I hope to eventually get an MBA and help run/create a company focused in technology In high school it was very possible to pass tests and classes with little to no studying. You are no longer in high school.

TOY STORY Andy has bought a new toy, our robot blue. Blue is excited to become a member of the Toy Story crew but when he arrives at Andy’s house they are nowhere to be seen. Blue has to navigate the house to find them so he can meet them. He successfully navigates the maze and finds Woody, Buzz, and the whole crew in the garage.

TEAM CONCLUSIONS Working on robots may seem difficult but it really isn’t, if you work on something you like it will seem like you aren’t working at all.
